August 13, 2018 - It’s the height of federal contracting and agencies are focused on “use it or lose it” when it comes to their dollars. Contractors can take advantage of some of these options to advance their business:
1 – Leverage contract vehicles such as GSA Schedules for faster acquisition;
2 – Take advantage of JV’s and the “All Small” Mentor Protégé program;
3 – Review the SBA Scorecard and target agencies that can use your designation to improve scores;
4 – Full court press with your potential partners and agency targets where relationships are already strong;
5 – Look out for Sources Sought or RFI's to position the company for long-term success in FY 19;
6 – Ensure your bench of proposal writers is ready to go should a procurement move to RFP stage;
7 – Ensure you have financing in place for meeting payroll post-award.
